Tamil Nadu which is also known as Land of Tamils or Tamil Country is one of States of India. It is one of Southern state of India. Tamil Nadu is bounded by the Eastern Ghats on the north, by the Nilgiri, the Anamalai Hills, and Kerala on the west, by the Bay of Bengal in the east, by the Gulf of Mannar and the Palk Strait on the southeast, and by the Indian Ocean on the south.

तमिलनाडु जिसे तमिलों की धरती व तमिल देश भी कहा जाता है। यह भारत का एक दक्षिणी राज्य है। तमिलनाडु के उत्तर में पूर्वी घाट है और पश्चिम में नीलगिरि ,अन्नामलाई पहाड़ियाँ तथा केरल ,दक्षिण पूर्व में मन्नार की खाड़ी और दक्षिण में हिन्द महासागर है।
