हमारे देश में इस समय कुल 24 उच्च न्यायालय हैं। और सबसे ज्यादा न्यायाधीश (95 ) इलाहबाद उच्च न्यायालय में बैठते हैं। और सबसे कम जज मणिपुर, मेघालय और सिक्किम के हाई कोर्ट्स में बैठते है। इन तीनो न्यायलय में न्यायाधीशों की संख्या प्रत्येक में तीन है। हमारा देश का सबसे पुराना उच्च न्यायालय कलकत्ता हाई कोर्ट है जो की 02 जुलाई 1862 से सेवा में है।

At present time there are in total 24 High Courts in India. The High court having maximum judges is Allahabad High Court having 95 judges. There are three high courts in India respectively in Manipur, Sikkim, Meghalaya having 3 judges each. The oldest high court of India is Calcutta High Court which is now written as Kolkata High Court. It came into existence on July 2nd 1862.
